基础医学院于1958年开始培养医学本科生，1980年开始培养硕士研究生，1986年获得硕士学位授予权，2005年开始培养本科留学生，2008年开始培养硕士留学生，2013年获得博士学位授予权。学院获批省级重点学科1个、省级重点实验室1个、省级实验教学示范中心1个、博士后科研流动站1个。
The College of Basic Medical Sciences began its undergraduate medical education in 1958 and initiated master's degree training in 1980. It was granted the authority to confer master's degrees in 1986. The college started enrolling international undergraduate students in 2005 and international master's students in 2008, and obtained the authority to confer doctoral degrees in 2013.
The college has been approved for one provincial key discipline, one provincial key laboratory, one provincial experimental teaching demonstration center, and one postdoctoral research program.
